Re-Existing! is an initiative of collaboration between social movements, intellectuals and university people, artists, and investigative journalists, aimed at deepening how we support each other in mutual solidarity, listening to the knowledge and spiritualities of the peoples in resistance against global systemic violence, to strengthen local, regional, and intercultural re-existences.
An intercultural and interreligious gathering that brought together 100+ people from 17+ countries in Guadalajara, Mexico (September 22-26, 2025).
Direction and editing: Juan Meza Fariello

Elías González Gómez, one of the organizers of Re-Existe 2025, shares his personal experience about what this intercultural and interreligious gathering meant and the historical roots that made it possible, in an article published by Revista Christus.
The reflection offers an intimate look at organizing the gathering and, at the same time, delves into a fundamental truth:
"the truly strong and transcendent fabric is one that is born not from feeling religiously or politically compatible, but from shared friendship and bodies daring to re-exist collectively."
The invitation is clear: to continue re-existing and coming together, because "only in togetherness can new possibilities emerge where before we saw neither future nor way out."

In Re-existing!, we aim to rescue stories, narratives, and practices that reflect how communities have faced and overcome challenges, strengthening their identity and social cohesion.

Re-existing! is a platform for local voices, especially those marginalized or made invisible, to find a space for representation and empowerment.

Art and creativity play a central role, with murals, music, dance, cinema, and literature telling stories of struggle and hope.

In Re-existing!, collaboration is encouraged between activists, artists, academics, and interested citizens, creating networks and alliances that extend and amplify the reach of their goals.
